One of the cruelest things about life is that we have to commit to certain experiences only to discover we’re no good at them. Join the military only to find out that you are not a soldier, but now you’re stuck for four years. For me, it’s relationships.
I didn’t know that I was a loner until I realized how much I hate when people disrupt my thoughts. You see, it was maybe a year into my marriage when I discovered mankind’s true purpose. Just as bees collect honey, Homo sapiens collect information. Our job is to keep contributing to…

First, let me tell you that I am not smart. I consider myself of average, or maybe even a little less than average, intelligence. If true (and it is), then what does that make everyone else around me, those that don’t even know what an atom is, those that have no idea there is actually an International Space Station orbiting the earth, or those that think Pi is a dessert?
I work in a factory. I am old enough to retire, but working is now the only reason for getting out of bed in the morning. During our half hour…
Okay, I watched Positions and I got a different take on it. Seems popular singers always start out with simple music and simple lyrics that everyone loves to sing along with. Then over time they get more complicated. They become artsy-fartsy and want to put more meaning into their music, when people just want to sing along and dance and have fun. I couldn't understand a word of this new song. Sad.
As an old white man I know that racism exists because I posed one question to myself: If I woke up as a black man in the morning, what would I NOT do that I wouldn't even consider a problem as a white person. Answer: I wouldn't walk or even drive through a rich white neighborhood.
Yes, racism exists and I am so sorry that you are a victim of it. :-(
If reality were a place then we’re a hundred-light years away from it.

We humans have built a wall of lies so high that we can’t even see over the top. We live each day with our heads filled with falsehoods and misconceptions. Don’t worry, though. Living in a non-reality is not really a bad thing, considering that I’m about to tell you the truth about how useless and irrelevant you are. So, if you really are useless and irrelevant (which you are), then living in a fairy tale isn’t much of a crime, now is it?
Let’s get to…
There are beliefs that people take for granted as true without questioning them. In this series those questions will be asked in order to see if they can hold up to what we perceive them to be. It is not about discovering whether their main concept is true or not, but rather to find out if what we believe about them is true. For instance, there may be a heaven, but can our ideas about heaven stand up under the scrutiny of logic and reason? Let’s find out.

Look, I hate getting into this, but after reading Walter Rhein’s article entitled, “Schools Must Teach that Thomas Jefferson Raped a Black Child” I feel compelled to offer an opposing view.

Now, everything written in that article is probably true, but it’s time to accept that as human animals (because that’s all that we are — animals) we can be conditioned from a young age to accept the most horrid actions and beliefs as perfectly natural. Think of the children of Germany that were taught to hate the Jews and turn in their own parents for protecting them. …

The above image is a picture of you, me, and everyone else on the planet. The human body is just an attachment we use to take our minds from one experience to the next. You are not black or white, male or female, tall or short, or even fat or skinny. That gray matter is all that we are. It’s where all of our hopes and dreams and thoughts (be they wise or ignorant) are stored. It’s where (as Martin Luther King, Jr. suggested) the content of our character resides.
Here in the 21st century too many people focus on…
Odd as it may seem, as I searched for the bizarre I discovered that I wasn’t going down the rabbit hole; I was climbing out of it. ~ JiggerJ

Imagine if humans started out in a real paradise. No sickness. No hunger. No boredom. Just a perfect world. Tell me, what would give them any reason or inspiration to achieve? To invent? They already have everything they need, so what would compel them to learn anything? To strive for something better? They wouldn’t. The following is not a matter of assigning right or wrong or good or bad to our…

My attempt is to offer a more conversational tone than one of instruction and teaching. Imagine chatting with your friends. That’s the atmosphere I’m bringing.
