You are at a party with 319 other people. Only one kind of pizza can be ordered for all. The 319 want cheese pizza. You are the only one that wants pepperoni. Do you selfishly try to get everyone to change their order, or do you acknowledge that you are the minority and will respect the wishes of the majority?
The same can be said for transexuals. There are roughly one million transgenders in the U.S., leaving 319 million that are not transgenders. Yet, the one million are demanding that the 319 million respect their wishes, use language a certain way (that is, at best, confusing), and to go against the norm that we've been conditioned to since birth.
As far as I'm concerned transgenders can think and dress and act anyway they want in the privacy of their own homes and clubs (and I would defend that right with my life). All I ask for is the same amount of respect from them when they go into public places and public restrooms. Men should dress like men in public and use the men's bathrooms. Then they can go home and put on any sexy female thing they want.
